SEO Manager
Overview:
Two Barrels is hiring an SEO Manager. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with company benefits. You’ll be a traditional company employee—no weird contracts, no endless client meetings, no chasing down invoices.
We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes SEO—someone who gets way too excited about ranking shifts, algorithm updates, and why some random blog post from 2012 is outranking our perfectly optimized page. If you know how to blend technical SEO, content strategy, and data analysis into a well-oiled machine, we want to hear from you.

$100,000 - $120,000/year
Responsibilities:
- Own our SEO strategy— coordinate with director and stakeholders on high-level direction to ensure nitty-gritty execution.
- Optimize everything—use you team to make sure everything is optimized: website structure, internal linking, content strategy, metadata, and more.
- Track and analyze rankings, traffic, and conversion data: build your individual contribs to be able to make data-driven decisions.
- Stay ahead of Google’s algorithm updates so we don’t wake up to a traffic disaster.
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure our pages are optimized without sounding like robots wrote them and help our product teams hum.
- Conduct competitor analysis to figure out why someone else is beating us and what we can do about it.
- Improve our technical SEO—crawlability, indexation, site speed, schema markup, and all that fun stuff.
- Ensure team monitors backlinks and disavows the junk.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience.
- Team lead experience
- Proven success driving organic traffic growth.
- Deep knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools like Ahrefs and Screaming Frog.
- Ability to troubleshoot and fix technical SEO issues and point people in the right direction.
- Strong understanding of content strategy and search intent—not just stuffing keywords.
- Experience with local SEO, structured data, and mobile optimization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Domain Registrar industry (or willingness to deep dive into it).
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for SEO-related tweaks.
- Understanding of CRO and UX principles—because SEO is about more than just rankings.
