Front-End Web Development Internship
Overview:
Two Barrels is offering a Front-End Web Development Internship. This position is required to be in-office and is Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week, in our Spokane, WA office.
At Two Barrels, you will learn from a close-knit group of developers who come from a diverse mix of backgrounds and experiences. We build out exciting new websites, as well as maintain and refactor older sites. We are constantly evolving, growing, and willing to try new technologies and techniques as long as we meet the business’s needs. We are looking for self-starter individuals who have a basic understanding of web development from their current time in school or program and want to learn more in a hands-on experience. Yes, we want you to be a self-starter, but you will have a team of mentors to guide you along the way. You will have the opportunity to participate in weekly stand-ups, work on various projects, learn from several of our mentors on the front-end team. Most of all the projects you will be working on will help our teams put our best foot forward and create a great user experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Are at least a sophomore in college and majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. We are also bootcamp friendly as well!
- A minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Will be available for all 8 weeks of the internship duration.
- Have school or personal web development-related projects you can share with us.
- Familiar with HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
- Experience using WordPress is preferred.
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs.
- You bring some weird or quirky new aspect of living and humanity to our workforce.
- Have an understanding of agile work environments.
- Eagerness to learn and grow your skills.
- Passionate about coding - You enjoy puzzling over hard technical problems, debugging challenging issues, and learning new programming concepts.
