General Counsel
Overview:
Two Barrels is looking for a General Counsel to join our executive team. This position is based in
the Spokane Area in Washington State, and relocation assistance is available.
This is a new position, so we want someone with experience on the ground. The experience of being a lead litigator will prove incredibly valuable, and something we’ll want to hear about. You’ve got to be business-
oriented with a proven record of achievement. Sure, you look great on paper, but your true strength is
your ability to think on your feet without getting tripped up by legal minutiae. You’re known for
solving complex problems with legal acumen and savoir-faire.
You’re a leader with the attitude of a team player. You’ve managed and developed a team of lawyers
who’ve gone on to act as trusted partners and problem solvers for the business. When it comes to
leadership style, you can own up to mistakes and admit when you don’t have all the answers. You know
that on a team, trust through transparency is key to success.
One of your key strengths is your business savvy: you know when and how to make decisions that will
protect the company and propel it forward. In past positions, you’ve worked in-house, preferably for a
private company in at least one of the following fields: technology, Software as a Service (SAAS), or
service-based operations.

Why you might like this job:
You’re bored without a challenge. As far as you’re concerned, “easy” is a dirty word. You thrive in
situations where you’re asked to put your legal knowledge to the test and come up with elegant
solutions to complex problems. And yeah, you like to come out on top, so if those solutions involve
using legal strategy to outwit and outmaneuver others, the victory is even sweeter. The Two Barrels
name is inspired by Yosemite Sam, but in the Looney Tunes universe, you’re Buggs Bunny, running
circles around the competition.
Like Buggs, you enjoy playing the game, and working at Two Barrels, you’ll have ample opportunity to
do just that. We’re a private, local company whose primary rivals are huge public entities that don’t
mind wasting resources to get ahead. We prefer a tactical approach, and we’re not too proud to put the
work in for the win. If you feel the same way, we want you here. We’ll provide you with an
environment where your potential is never limited.
